 Standardized software quality assurance
International standard
CATTSoft, originated from United Nation Development Program (UNDP) and R&D Software Center of Chinese Academy of Telecom Technologies (CATT), is the pioneer in adopting international standard in Software Engineering. It had ISO9000 certification in 1999 and passed ISO9001-2000 certification in 2001. CATTSoft began CMM certification in 2002, and has already passed CMM2 certification. Currently CATTSoft is preparing for CMM Level 3 certification.
Strict QA management
For any product or project carried on by CATTSoft, the company will assign an independent SQA group or SQA, depending on project scale. SQA reports to company senior management and is responsible for company product quality or project quality assurance.
Strict test management
The testing for all software products or projects from CATTSoft is performed by Beijing Horizon Information Technologies CO, LTD, a subsidiary of CATTSoft and a software testing company. Although CATTSoft owns 50% Horizon stakes, the operation of Horizon is total independent from CATTSoft.
With more than 60 professionals tester, Horizon provides testing services nationally and internationally. Horizon is the general agency of Mercury Technologies, Inc in telecommunication sector in China.
